Dr Mohan Chawla - BDS, MFGDP(UK), MFDSRCS(Eng), MJDFRCS(Eng), DipImpDent RCS(Eng)

Mohan is the practice owner and he took over the practice in 2005. Immediately after taking over Mohan modernised the practice improving the facilities and updating the equipment to ensure the practice offers the highest standards, in a safe and comfortable environment. Mohan recognises the value in building a strong team, who have a long term commitment and look forward to come to work. The practice offers patients and staff a very pleasant environment and we strive to provide you with excellence.

He qualified in 1989 from Liverpool University and was awarded the Mark Ball Prize for achieving the highest standard in general pathology and medical microbiology. He has continued his professional development by attaining the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practioners, Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Diploma of membership of the joint Dental faculties, and the Diploma in Implant Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also accredited for Clearstep Invisible Braces, Inman Aligner, Zoom Advanced Power Laser Tooth Whitening and Enlighten Deep Bleach Whitening System.

He has been in general practice for 20 years and has vast experience in managing complex cases. He carries out mainly implant dentistry and restorative dentistry. Treatment ranges from single implants to complete mouth restoration with implants, dentures supported with implants or combinations of implants, crowns, bridges and veneers. He also carries out cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening, veneers and tooth coloured fillings and porcelain inlays.

He is accredited as a foundation dentist trainer at both High Wycombe and Maidenhead branches. He teaches and assesses other dentists and also lectures on implant dentistry to qualified dentists.

Dr Neelam Kalyan - BDS

Neelam is an enthusiastic member of the dental team and has many years of experience in general practice. She is an accredited Vocational Trainer who is active in postgraduate education. She has a keen interest in Cosmetic and Restorative dentistry, providing a wide range of tooth whitening treatments and Crown and Bridge work to replace and restore teeth to a high standard.

Neelam has a caring manner appreciated by all her patients by whom she is highly recommended.

Dr Aarti Dawada - BDS GKT London

Aarti qualified in 2009 from Guys, Kings & St Thomas London. She has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and has attended many courses on the different disciplines of dentistry. She is very good at dealing with children and nervous patients. Outside the practice Dr Dawada enjoys socialising with friends, reading and dancing.

 

lisa staines - Dip Dent Hygiene RCS Eng

Lisa has been a member of the Optima team since 2008; originally as a Dental Nurse and Practice Manager, Lisa continued her career development at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital London; she is now a Dental Hygienist based at our High Wycombe practice. Lisa enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and the theatre in her spare time.
